DCS Veterans Day Chapel
Desert Christian Schools enjoys many ties to our US Armed Services. With families from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base whose children attend DCS, to our staff veterans, to those students who enlist after graduation, the military is an integral part of DCS. To honor those who have served and those who are on active duty, an annual assembly is held on Veterans Day to honor them. Veterans are thanked and blessed by performances and speakers as well as commemorative A/V presentations and tokens of appreciation from DCS students. It is a special occasion enabling the entire school body to express gratitude and remember the many freedoms we enjoy thanks to the unselfish sacrifice of our dedicated military personnel.
